Description
Eucalyptus is a genus of over seven hundred species in the Myrtle family, Myrtaceae. Though native to Australia, it is grown in many other countries. We harvest our blue gum eucalyptus on the Yunnan Plateau, China; the essential oil is created through steam distillation of the leaves. Eucalyptus has a distinctive 'cold' quality, similar to peppermint.
