Description
Known as the ‘golden spice’ for its radiant hue, turmeric has been revered for millennia in both culinary and medicinal traditions. In perfumery, turmeric leaf shares the root’s spicy, woody and earthy character.
We harvest our turmeric leaf in Tamil Nadu, India, where the spice is native and has been grown for over 5,000 years. The leaves, typically a byproduct of the turmeric root harvest, are hydro-distilled to extract the essential oil.
