At Ffern, we use natural ingredients and artisan techniques to create fine fragrances inspired by the seasons.
We create a new natural fragrance four times a year, one for each season. Each fragrance is released on a solstice or equinox, turning points in the year as the Earth orbits around the Sun.
Each bottle of fragrance is made to order in small batches, exclusively for our ledger of clients.

Each season, we make one bottle of fragrance for each person on our ledger.
Having a ledger of customers allows us to remain true to our traditional, small batch production processes - reducing waste and ensuring we can source the finest natural ingredients in exact quantities.
Once you’ve joined our waiting list, you can enter your name into a draw for a ledger space. If you’re successful, the cost of your first bottle will be debited from your account that day - and thereafter we’ll make you a bottle for every season, for as long as you’d like us to.
Each bottle costs £89 - this includes postage, your sampling kit and a returns label. There’s no minimum commitment involved - you could join for just one season if you liked.
Ffern is a natural fragrance maker - each bottle of Ffern fragrance is derived from plants using techniques that are sometimes centuries old.
Natural ingredients are special. Each one can contain hundreds of molecules - so when blended together, the oils interact in unexpected, evolving ways, creating a fragrance that smells unique on each person who wears it.
We find that these ingredients bring us back to nature - helping us to live more in tune with the natural world as the seasons turn.
Every seasonal bottle ships with a separate sampling kit - we always include a small seasonal gift here too.
You can use this kit to try out the fragrance in the comfort of your home, before deciding whether or not you wish to keep the main bottle.
If you find the fragrance isn’t quite right for you, you can return it to us for a full refund.
Any returned fragrances must have the main bottle box unopened, and must be sent back within 14 days of being received.
In addition to our seasonal fragrance releases, members of the Ffern ledger have exclusive access to the Ffern Archive.
Any returns are stored in controlled conditions at the Ffern HQ - these make up the Ffern Archive.
Ledger members are welcome to order bottles from the archive whenever they wish.
