New light washes over the land. Fields and hills, hedges, roads. Ordinary England. Then it touches something else. A heady tangle of green and white blossom, organic and unruly. A cacophony of birds. Meadowland. Pools of water, trickling streams. For Spring 26 we have partnered with Knepp Wilding in Sussex. Together we’ve created a fragrance that emulates the rewilded landscape fostered here for a quarter of a century.

About Knepp
Knepp Wilding in West Sussex is home to one of England’s first major rewilding projects. Across 3,500 acres of land, Knepp’s pioneering methods encourage natural processes to revive the landscape: free-roaming animals shape the land, restore river systems and encourage the growth of native plants.
Since 2001, wildlife has surged back, including the first beavers to breed in Sussex for 500 years. Today, Knepp stands as a landmark example of how nature can offer solutions to some of our most pressing ecological problems.
"Rewilding Knepp has been a joy beyond our wildest dreams. Restoring the soil, allowing the river to return to its floodplain, the land to scrub up and trees to recolonise, has brought back life in unimaginable profusion. You don’t have to do much. Just stand back and let nature take the driving seat. Provide, and life will come."

Why Knepp?
Rooted in our shared mission to bring people closer to nature, our Spring 26 fragrance takes inspiration from the magic of the springtime wilderness at Knepp.
We first visited Knepp Wilding in the winter, and we watched with wonder on each visit as its thorny scrubland fizzed with life.
Helping us understand how our landscape in Britain must have once looked, Knepp’s ethos aligns with our own goal of helping people connect with nature in their daily lives.
"Knepp and Ffern are natural collaborators, both rooted in sustainability and guided by the living world. This fragrance is a beautiful expression of the power of rewilding and nature. We hope it allows people to bring a little bit of wildness back into their lives."

A Sound Map of Knepp Wildland

From the trills of rare birds to the snuffles of Tamworth pigs, this sound map was conceived to accompany our seasonal fragrance and film.
Created in partnership with Knepp Wilding in West Sussex, our Sound Map was designed and illustrated by Knepp’s Creative Director, Lia Brazier.
Sound artist, Alice Boyd, collected these field recordings over a few days spent in Knepp’s Wildland last spring.
The Fragrance

Our Spring 26 fragrance captures the heady tangle of green and white that crowns the rewilded land at Knepp in spring. Petitgrain and timut pepper evoke the luminous dawn, while broom and tuberose call up clouds of blossom. For the wild meadows we paired valerian and elemi.
