Our black tea extract is made from a classic blend of teas from Ceylon, China and India. Extracted from tea leaves using the CO2 process, the aroma is dry and leafy - it brings a smoky depth to a fragrance, both familiar and strange. Tea fragrances carry an undeniable mystique and are having something of a moment, but the history of tea leaves is as old as the hills. Used first as herbs, they began to be brewed later than many have assumed from the extensive folklore surrounding tea drinking, but that delicate aroma has been celebrated for millennia.
