Orange flower absolute

Orange flower absolute is uplifting, sunny, and a keystone ingredient in perfumery. Like neroli, it is made from the blossoms of the bitter orange tree, but it differs from neroli in that it is extracted using the solvent method, which does not use heat. This lack of heat allows the blossoms to keep their rich, deep scent; where neroli has light, green facets that are more delicate, orange flower absolute is seductive, intense. Orange blossoms are traditionally associated with weddings - Queen Victoria famously wore a headdress of them on her wedding day.
