Handmade and cast in 925 sterling silver using traditional mould-making and lost-wax casting techniques, Edith Morris’s hare pin brooch is inspired by medieval pilgrim badges, small talismanic tokens sewn or pinned to the hats and cloaks of pilgrims as devotional signs. Crafted by Edith at her studio in Bristol, this brooch was commissioned specially to celebrate the moonlit moorlands that inspired our Autumn 26 fragrance.
Edith Morris
Edith Morris is a Welsh artist and experimental filmmaker whose work draws on folklore, oral storytelling tradition and craft-based practices. Working from her Bristol studio, she practises across a range of disciplines, creating with ceramic, wood, fabric, metal and 16mm film.
For Autumn 26, we have bottled a moonlit moor. With the smudged, spacious quality of twilight, this lunar fragrance shimmers with lavender, iris and violet leaf. Warmer notes of tonka and immortelle capture the honeyed scent of heather - a hare’s-eye view.
