A Provençal quince steeped in saffron and warm spices
The door to the kitchen stands open. A basket of quinces, freshly picked, sits on the windowsill, and the scent of warming spices drifts from the stove.
Autumn 24 captures the fruit of the season: the golden quince. To complement its soft pear-like notes, we added the floral tones of jasmine and davana, set upon a warm, gently spiced base of myrrh and caraway seed.

Jamie Beck is an American photographer and visual artist who lives and works in Provence. Inspired by the bounty of the seasons, her still lives are composed with fruits and flowers gathered from the landscape surrounding her home.
