Description
Lavandin Grosso is a hybrid of true lavender and spike lavender, born from centuries of the flower’s cultivation in Provence, France. While it shares much of true lavender’s character, its scent is distinctly brighter and more camphorous, with a cleaner profile that is less sweet and floral.
The plant itself is taller, with longer stems and lilac-hued flowers that taper to a narrow point. Each stem carries three flower heads, giving Lavandin Grosso its characteristic form. Like our lavender oil, our Lavandin Grosso oil is gently steam-distilled to preserve its fresh, aromatic notes.
