Blends are added to our fragrance between the maturation and maceration ageing stages. Most perfumes are blended with parfum, alcohol and pure water. In our case we sometimes choose to add distillation waters in place of the pure water. It's a good use for the byproduct of distillation-based extraction, and it can add facets of the natural ingredient that are not captured by the oil alone.
