Handmade recycled brass charm and brooch
Free shipping
Handmade in recycled brass using traditional hammering and lost-wax casting techniques, Jess Wheeler’s beech nut brooch is a nod to the native trees that grow at Knepp Wilding in Sussex, our partners for Spring 26. Though designed to go together, both elements may also be worn apart. Jess made the charm at her West Dorset studio, and the brooch was developed with local maker, G. J. Burke. Available exclusively though Ffern Artefacts.
About the artist

Jess Wheeler is a sculptor and artist working between Dorset and London. She practises across a range of disciplines, from cast bronze sculpture to delicate chandeliers. Underpinning all her work is a desire to connect with the natural world.
The fragrance

Spring 26 was created in partnership with Knepp Wilding - capturing the heady tangle of green and white that crowns the rewilded land in spring. Petitgrain and timut pepper evoke the luminous dawn, while broom and tuberose call up clouds of blossom. For the wild meadows we paired valerian and elemi.
