We’re here to help. Some of our most frequently asked Returns questions are below:

We operate different returns policies and processes depending on the item. You can find a breakdown of these below.

  • Seasonal Eau de Parfum, 32ml and Permanent Collection, 50ml: we operate a 14-day return window. To be eligible for a free return, your main bottle box must be unopened and sealed, and you should request a return label via the Ffern ledger portal. Once you have requested your label, you will have a further 14 days to take the parcel to your local drop-off point. You will receive a full refund in the form of credit, within 10 days of your bottle arriving at Ffern HQ.
  • ​Perfumer’s Candle: we operate a 14-day return window. To be eligible for a free return, your candle must be unlit and you should request a return label within 14 days of receiving it. Once you have requested your label, you will have a further 14 days to return your candle. You will receive a full refund in the form of credit, within 10 days of your candle arriving at Ffern HQ. 
  • Pocket Edition fragrance, 9ml: we do not include a sample system or free returns for our Pocket Editions.
  • Archival Eau de Parfum, 32 ml: we do not include free returns for our Archive fragrances.
  • Artefacts: due to the varying and bespoke nature of these items, there is no one-size-fits-all approach for returning Artefacts. Please check the product page for full details on your particular item.

Please note that Canadian returns are managed directly via Canada Post, and must be requested directly via the Canada Post website (we'll direct you there once you click through the return option on the relevant order you wish to return).

For ledger deliveries we operate a 14-day return window.

To be eligible for a return, your main bottle box must be unopened and you should request a returns label within 14 days of receiving your bottle. Once you have requested your label, you will have a further 14 days to return your fragrance.

Your return label will be generated when you request a return via the portal.

Simply check your order history, find the item you're looking to return and select "return items" to begin the process.

Please note, that you must request a return within 14 days of receiving your delivery.

As a Ffern ledger member, you can accrue credit on your ledger account. By default, this credit will go towards your next bottle of Ffern.

If you leave the Ffern ledger, outstanding refundable credit will be reimbursed to your bank account automatically, such as any credit you have accrued from returning a fragrance.

You can check your balance and reimburse credit at any time via the Ffern ledger portal.

Once your return arrives back at Ffern HQ, we aim to process your refund as quickly as possible. Please allow up to 10 days for this to happen before getting in touch.

  • If you are receiving credit, a full refund will be added to your ledger account. You can check your balance and reimburse credit at any time via the Ffern ledger portal. Please note, credit is the default refund option for ledger members.
  • If you are eligible for a cash refund, this will be made back to your original payment method within 10 days of us receiving the returned goods. Delivery charges will not be refunded. If a promotional discount was applied to your order, the same discount will be applied when calculating your refund, so the amount refunded will reflect the actual price you paid for the goods.
